Wordpress Web Developer

Big Fresh Media is looking for an experienced Wordpress developer with excellent PHP and mySQL skills. As part of our team, your primary role will be to develop, deploy, and manage Wordpress driven applications & websites.

Candidate must have:

• high level of experience in web development
• excellent skills in CSS
• strong skills in PHP, Javascript, jQuery, and AJAX
• ability to troubleshoot CSS, HTML, and programming bugs
• strong database background
• high attention to detail
• ability to translate client requests into functional web-based solutions
• ability to work independently or as part of a team

Senior Web Developer

BigFresh.com, a web development company, is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our expanding team in Bellingham, WA. As part of our team,you will design, develop, deploy, and manage web applications.

Job Duties
- Design, develop, deploy, manage, and maintain portions of high-volume web sites & applications
- Participate in requirements gathering, project scoping, and task estimation
- Present ideas on how to improve existing software (tools, technologies, refactoring) and streamline processes
- Clearly articulate your ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing
- Balance priorities and meet deadlines

Required Skills
- 3+ years’ experience developing with an object-oriented language
- 3+ years’ experience developing distributed web-based applications
- Proven ability to debug, design, and refactor large software systems
- Expertise in SQL and MySQL
- 3+ years with JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS experience preferred
- Experience with PHP preferred
- Experience developing in a UNIX environment
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Strong database architecture background
- High attention to detail
- Ability to translate client requests into functional web-based solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to balance priorities and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related technical field

Senior Technical Project Manager for Web Development Division

BigFresh.com, a web development company, is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager for Web Development Division to join our expanding team in Bellingham, WA. This unique position offers the opportunity to be the technical lead on a variety of web and app projects, provide project oversight, and act as liaison to clients.

Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of project process - from concept to finished product
- Create, implement, and manage project schedules
- Design, develop, deploy, manage, and maintain portions of high-volume 24x7 web sites & applications
- Participate in requirements gathering, project scoping, and task estimation
- Present ideas on how to improve existing software (tools, technologies, refactoring) and streamline processes
- Clearly articulate your ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing
- Manage Web Development team members

Candidate must have:
- 3+ years of experience in web development
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- 3+ years managing staff
- Ability to translate client requests into functional web-based solutions
- Experience in usability design
- Strong skills in PHP, Javascript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Ability to make educated decisions on-the-fly
- Ability to work individually and part of a team
- Ability to troubleshooting programming bugs
- Strong database architecture background
- High attention to detail
- Accurate scheduling capabilities
